Woven and Welded Wire Mesh

WIRECRAFTERS WOVEN AND WELDED WIRE MESH

Wirecrafters is an expert in professional wire mesh products. Whether you’re looking for woven and welded wire mesh decking, tool cribs, or storage cages, WireCrafters can produce it. With state-of-the-art technology and industrial know-how, we’re able to create high-quality products at a lower cost.

STYLE 840 MESH

WireCrafters uses its signature mesh in a majority of its products. This signature mesh is a thick, 10-gauge wire that gets woven into a rectangular mesh measuring 2″ x 1″. This is the most affordable and popular mesh produced in our factories. Many automotive facilities across the country have embraced the Style 840 wire to use in their inventory areas and machine guards. Drug manufacturers also make use of this mesh to store controlled substances. The size of the mesh is perfect for keeping items safe while still allowing for a view of the products being stored.

MESH VARIETY

Although Style 840 is our standard, we have a sturdier and stronger product where a six-gauge wire is weaved through a square mesh measuring 2″ x 2″. There are several government facilities which trust our wire mesh as the strongest in the entire industry for areas that require heightened control and security. It’s not uncommon to see this style of mesh being used in various airports around the globe.

Eight-gauge wire looped through a 1.5″ x 1.5″ mesh square makes for a sturdy product. This is used when clients require smaller openings. We often recommend the eight-gauge mesh as a substitution for a nine-gauge wire that is intended for use in a chain link fence.

Many of our top pharmaceutical customers have requested the production of ten-gauge wire woven through square mesh measuring 0.75″ x 0.75″. The 0.75″ mesh is used by these companies because small bottles of pills cannot slip through. Companies dealing with liquor distribution to airlines and airports also use this mesh for their security purposes. Some server companies also use the 0.75″ mesh for security purposes when protecting servers.

Our robust twelve-gauge wire in a 0.5″ x 0.5″ mesh is a common request by government facilities. The 0.5″ square mesh is often used to secure funds by the Federal Reserve. The smallest form of U.S. currency, the common dime, cannot even pass through this mesh. This size mesh is also provided for machine guarding to ensure that small pieces of machines don’t fall into pieces of expensive equipment.

WELDED WIRE MESH

WireCrafters produces a welded wire mesh where the intersecting wires are welded for extra sturdiness and strength. This style of mesh is actually much lighter than woven wire mesh. It uses less wire overall as well. There is very little difference in the application of these products. You can use both woven and welded wire mesh decking and partitions for roughly the same purposes.

Ten-gauge wire weaved through a 2″ x 2″ mesh is the most popular product we sell. This welded mesh is used in many of our wire partition products. Whether we’re making pallet rack enclosures, tenant storage lockers, safety panels, or general storage cages, there’s a good chance this ten-gauge welded wire is being used. The practicality and robustness of this welded wire mesh make it perfect for use in products with wire partitions.
